Investiture Ceremony

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony at Maneckji Cooper School marked the significant beginning of the new academic year. This momentous occasion was held on 22nd June, 2017 at 2.00 p.m. in the Nursery Hall.

The School choir began the programme with the Invocation Prayer which they sang melodiously in their voices laced with pride and fervor even as the parents, teachers and students watched proudly.

It is a tradition at Maneckji Cooper School to honour the parents of the School ICSE topper by inviting them as the Chief Guests at this significant event. The Principal, Mrs. Kashmira Gundevia welcomed them warmly and felicitated them with floral bouquets.

Forty-three dynamic students with leadership qualities were officially inducted to don the mantle of responsibility and service to the school. The young office bearers were beaming with pride and confidence as the Chief Guests, Principal, Vice Principal, Supervisors and Teachers pinned on their batches and adorned them with sashes.

Our respected Principal then addressed the newly appointed Office Bearers on the significance of their role as leaders and the importance of service and responsibility entrusted to them.

After her inspiring speech the newly appointed School Captain, Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering.

The newly inducted office bearers thereafter marched smartly in a parade around the entire hall amidst cheers and loud applause by all present.

The event was concluded by a Vote of Thanks given by the School Supervisor.
