At Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, we have student councils to represent and support students from the secondary school level onwards. The candidates are democratically elected from amongst the chosen nominees by the students.

The objective is to establish a representative student council body that promotes student involvement, leadership, and collaboration within the school community. They also set an aspirational goal for other students as the nominees are usually school all – rounders and have displayed good character, empathy and the ability to build healthy relationships with their seniors, teachers and peers. Nominees are selected purely on merit and students are encouraged to nominate themselves for a place in the student council
