As a result, we whole­heartedly embrace­ experiential le­arning techniques that revolve­ around a student-centere­d and constructivist approach. Pedagogy

Foundational

  • Child-centred curriculum: The teaching-learning strategy revolves around the child and is flexible and adaptable in a variety of settings
  • Play-based learning: It includes play as a very important part of active learning.
  • Project - based learning: Learning by doing is the focus of this teaching strategy
  • Inquiry-based learning: A child’s natural curiosity and inquisitiveness is used to build upon their knowledge.

Preparatory

  • Child Centric and Active learning: The teaching learning strategy here revolves around the child learning the concept by doing it practically wherever possible.
  • Project Based: The students are encouraged to research for the topic given before presenting it to the class.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Design activities and tasks that encourage students to analyse, evaluate, and solve problems.

Middle

  • Activity based learning: Including different formats of individual, paired and group activities.
  • Formative assessment: Different formats of assessment are employed including quiz, puzzle, projects, case study and research work.
  • Analytical thinking: based classroom discussions and assessments.
  • Inclusion of technology: for teaching concepts beyond the textbook.

Secondary

  • Active Learning: This is achieved through group discussions, debates, role-playing, problem-solving activities, and hands-on experiments.
  • Inquiry-Based Learning: Foster curiosity and critical thinking by guiding students to explore and discover the answers themselves.
  • Use of Technology: Utilize educational apps, multimedia presentations, and online resources to supplement traditional teaching methods
  • Flipped Classroom Model: Class time is used to clarify doubts. Home time is used to research concepts
  • Project-Based Learning: Assign projects that require students to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios.
  • Formative Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress through formative assessments such as quizzes, class -discussions, and short assignments.
  • Group discussion: Encourage group work and collaboration among students. Cooperative learning activities promote teamwork, communication skills, and a supportive learning environment.
